POETRY

 

 

Blinded by hate, the turbaned king,

plans to annihilate, the death knell rings.

 

Whispered secret codes. sirens, shrill and loud,

hear the bombs explode, see the mushroom cloud.

 

It fills the air and rains on your dreams, near and far,

everywhere, hear the children's screams.

 

Just one last breath and it's over and done,

hatred breeds death, the arms race has begun.

 

All life  is destroyed in the blink of an eye,

when men wage nuclear war all things must die.

 

Don't silence the Dove, cry war no more!

Let us live in Love that's what we are here for.
