Black, oh so black, where's our love at?
I can't find us in your stormy sea.
If only you could save yourself.
reach out and find me.
Now into the black night of love's sweet sorrow,
like a bird on the wing,
into the winds of forgetfulness
never more my name to sing.
How long I waited, day after day,
alone and loving you in my own special way.
I see us together in my dream of dreams,
swinging on a galactic moonbeam.
When I awaken in a galaxy far,
on a distant star some dewey morn'
I'll find you wherever you are,
in love's eternal light foresworn.
